The four forty machine transmits on 442.225 megahertz and requires a PL of 131.8. Transmitter power is 75 watts and has an effective radiated power over 200 watts. The antenna height above mean sea level is thirteen hundred forty feet and has a height above average terrain of 405 feet. The antenna is fed with 150 feet of seven eights Andrews heliax hard line. The repeater is a GE Mastr II with a 4 cavity TX RX duplexer. It also has a custom made 6 cavity filter from DCI. There is an Advanced Receiver Research receiver pre amp. The transmitter is also equipped with a dual stage isolator. It is a single site system with HT coverage for most of Cuyahoga County. Mobile coverage extends into surrounding counties and beyond.
